Students in Mrs. Reid's 8th grade math classes transformed into surgeons to perform the - procedure - of solving multi-step equations with variables on both sides. A “Code blue” was used for emergency patients that needed their equation solved quickly and unexpectedly.
Teachers and school leaders assisted all day with the surgical 8th grade Math operational lab.
The “highlight” was finding out if Greta the Goose survived, Ms. Kenyatta would “crash out” and lose her voice, or if Ms. Watson would survive be able to enjoy and dance to the G-L-A-M-orius Life at BMJ.
